Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using AdvertisingAPI ("the Service"), operated by AdvertisingAPI.com ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
AdvertisingAPI provides a programmatic advertising platform accessible via REST API and dashboard. The Service enables users to create and manage advertising campaigns across multiple ad exchanges including Google Authorized Buyers (ADX), Pubmatic, and OpenRTB-compatible exchanges.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including API keys and JWT tokens. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Pricing and Payment
The Service charges a transparent 10% margin on media spend. There are no monthly fees, setup fees, or minimum spend requirements. Billing is based on actual media spend during the billing period. Invoices are issued monthly for the previous month's usage. Payment is due within 30 days of invoice date.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Run advertisements that violate applicable laws or regulations
- Promote illegal products or services
- Engage in click fraud, impression fraud, or other forms of ad fraud
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or connected exchanges
- Attempt to access accounts or data belonging to other users
- Violate the advertising policies of connected exchanges (Google, Pubmatic, etc.)
- Use the Service to collect personal data in violation of applicable privacy laws
6. API Usage
API access is subject to rate limits. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend API access if usage patterns indicate abuse or threaten the stability of the Service. API keys must not be shared or exposed in client-side code.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of your advertising content, creative assets, and campaign data. We retain ownership of the Service, API, documentation, and all related intellectual property. You grant us a limited license to process your content as necessary to deliver the Service.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not responsible for the actions or policies of third-party exchanges.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may close your account by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms or non-payment. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination, after which it will be deleted.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the email address associated with your account. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Privacy Policy
Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you use the Service:
- Account information: email address, company name, password (stored as a hash)
- Campaign data: campaign configurations, creative content, targeting parameters, budget settings
- Performance data: impressions, clicks, conversions, spend, and revenue metrics
- Audience data: SHA-256 hashed email addresses for audience targeting (we never store plaintext emails for audience matching)
- Usage data: API calls, IP addresses, user agents, timestamps (for audit logging and security)
- Conversion data: conversion events including type, value, and attribution metadata
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the Service (campaign delivery, bid management, reporting)
- To process payments and invoicing
- To communicate with you about your account, billing, and service updates
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats
- To improve the Service and develop new features
Third-Party Data Sharing
We share data with third parties only as necessary to deliver the Service:
- Ad exchanges: campaign and creative data is transmitted to exchanges (Google ADX, Pubmatic, etc.) as part of the bidding process
- Infrastructure providers: Cloudflare processes requests and stores data as our infrastructure provider
- Payment processors: billing information is shared with our payment processor for invoicing
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Data Retention
Account data is retained for the duration of your account plus 30 days after termination. Performance and analytics data is retained for 24 months. Audit logs are retained for 12 months. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data in a machine-readable format
- Object to processing of your data

Cookies
The AdvertisingAPI dashboard uses essential cookies for authentication (JWT session tokens). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics on our website. Our conversion tracking pixel, when deployed on advertiser websites, operates based on the advertiser's own consent and cookie policies.
